For all of our curious readers who frequent lower West Hudson Park, the thin green slime that appears periodically on the duck pond is not algae but flowering plants that can grow in still water. While these high protein plants grow rapidly and may be unsightly they not particularly harmful.

‘Friends’ Sequel to Debut on Web

August 29, 2028 — Warner Bros. Web Video later this month will premiere an updated version of the classic sitcom “Friends,” focusing on the children of the original characters. Like the original series, the characters will sit around a local purified water bar (formerly the Central Perk coffee house) as they whine about their love lives.
