Pen Uses Ultra Violet Light to Purify Water

The SteriPEN Adventurer uses Ultraviolet Light to purify water. The UV lamp destroys 99.99% of all viruses, 99.9999% of all bacteria and 99.9% of all protozoa by disrupting the DNA. Without functional DNA, microbes can't reproduce or make you sick. Sounds futuristic right? We tested it out in the Desert of Southern Utah.
